SOT, Christian anti-abortion demonstrator (Spanish): "More than 100 million children since 1973 when abortion was approved in the US and unfortunately spread around the world doing the disaster that we are seeing today specifically in Bogota in the town of Teusaquillo for example. [Area where abortion clinics are located] Then in him, in Juan Sebastian [aborted baby without father's consent] [we have someone] who united us all, who touches everyone's heart, let's hold a one minute silence for all these children, what do you think?"

Hundreds of Christian ProVida (Pro-Life) members gathered in Bogota on Saturday, to protest against the possible legalisation of abortion in Colombia as the country's top court is expected to give a historic ruling in the coming weeks.
Christian demonstrators chanted and prayed at the demonstration with one branding abortion as a disaster.
The demonstration was sparked by a much-debated case of a woman having an abortion while being seven months pregnant. The case was popularised in the media by the unborn baby's father, who started a campaign to stop his ex-partner's decision.
Simultaneously, pro-choice demonstrators took to the streets to call out the danger of abortions being carried out by non-professionals and expressing the need to extend the legalisation of terminating pregnancies to include more than only when they threaten the mother's life or a result of rape.
On 19 February, one of the nine judges set to deliberate on a path-paving abortion case, Alejandro Linares Cantillo, presented a formal proposal to legalise all abortions up until the 16th week of pregnancy.
