Ever get the feeling you’re in a video game deja-vu? Seen that thing before somewhere? We know what that’s like, and game developers certainly know what it’s like. They’re the ones making us experience the same thing over and over again. Video games have been around a while at this point and it’s inevitable that they become derivative of one and other by following certain formulas. That doesn’t stop us from being overly irritated by the lazy rehashing of similar gameplay and plot points. We’ve decided to put our frustrations into words by making a list of the 10 video game cliches that need to die.
