Three new-born male Bengal Tiger cubs made their first appearance one week after their birth at Yalta Zoo 'Skazka,' in the Crimean Peninsula, on Saturday morning. Two of the cubs have thin black stripes over their body, and the third one is totally white. They could be seen playing around with other feline cubs at the zoo premises. They were born from a female White Bengal tiger called Tigrulya, who declined feeding her offspring after giving birth. The zookeepers are taking care of the litter while they grow. The father of the tigers is a 6.5 years old White Bengal male called Patrice, who was brought from France to Crimea. Since 2010, the Bengal Tiger has been classified as an endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). By 2011, the total population was estimated at fewer than 2,500 with that number expected to further decline.
