This perfect 100 carat diamond, which weighs nearly an ounce, became the most expensive colorless diamond ever auctioned in New York when it sold for 22.1 million dollars. Sotheby's auction house received the winning multimillion dollar bid after only 3 minutes of putting the diamond under the hammer. The rough stone from which it was cut is believed to have weighed over 200 carats and was mined in southern Africa by De Beers. Now that’s bling bling.
