Plane Falls 13,000 Feet After Losing Power in Both Engines

A Singapore Airlines Airbus A330 aircraft lost power in both engines while on a flight from Singapore to Shanghai on Saturday, causing a loss in altitude of about 13,000 feet before power was restored.
The pilots followed procedures to restore power to the Rolls Royce engines, regaining some altitude before landing safely in Shanghai at about 11 p.m. local time on Saturday, according to radar data and Singapore Airlines. There were no reported injuries among the 194 passengers and crew on board.
