Around 21,000 gallons (79,500 litres) of crude oil leaked from a ruptured pipeline in Goleta on Tuesday, flowing into the ocean near Santa Barbara, California. Coast Crews managed to halt the leak by around 15.00 local time, according to authorities. The 24-inch (60 cm) diameter pipeline, owned by Plains All American Pipeline, was shut down and blocked to prevent more oil from spilling into the ocean.
