Russia: Masha the LIONESS cub befriends flock of lambs

A six-month-old lioness named Masha has struck up an unlikely friendship with a flock of lambs, as shown by footage shot in the Khivsky District of Dagestan, Monday. The 50-strong flock leave peacefully with Masha chasing and playing with them all day long.
Farm owner Bayrambek Rahimov praised the role Masha has played in keeping the flock active. "They are friends. It's good. The lambs do not lie on the floor; they are running around, playing all the time. It is good for them. All thanks to our Masha," he said.
Now friends, the flock and Masha may have to be separated in the future due to the fact that when fully grown, the lioness will need her own, separate paddock.
