The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicked off in Shanghai, Wednesday, showcasing some of the latest technology that set to change the future of travel.
One of the exhibits, Travis the Translator is the first pocket-size instant voice translator to be powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It can translate in 20 languages offline and over 80 languages online processing the user's voice within just two seconds.
"You can make a human connection," said CEO of Travis B.V. Lennart van der Ziel speaking from CES, "I'm very happy that we already have 5,000 users and we're now in production."
The COWAROBOT R1 robotic suitcase became another item to steal the show as the smart luggage bag follows a traveler everywhere. It is the world's first hands-free robotics suitcase with high-tech features like autonomous travel and obstacle avoidance. Equipped with depth sensor, the suitcase constantly collects data about the world and is able to literally find its way back to the owner.
CES Asia 2017 will run until Friday 9.
