USA: Hurricane Flo sees shelves empty, gas run dry and people pack up

Grocery stores and gas stations were out of stock as North Carolinians prepare for Hurricane Florence, as shown in footage filmed in Charleston on Tuesday.
Despite the storm being predicted to hit Category Four, some locals are hoping to weather it.
"I'm not going anywhere. I was here during 'Hugo', I was here during every hurricane since," said Steve, one of the residents.
Unlike him, Tanner, another local, claims that his previous experience of braving a hurricane was not worth it as he was left without power for almost a week, so this time he is heading to Florida, hoping to 'catch some waves.'
It is thought Florence will make landfall in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina on Thursday morning.
