Four Russian musicians recorded a performance of the famous Soviet aviation anthem "Higher and higher and higher" while paragliding at 650 metres (2132 ft) in the air in Novosibirsk, Sunday. The band, called The Street Fiddlers, recorded a videoclip of their performance with the help of Aleksandr Orlov, a well-known Russian paraglider. He held one camera in his hand with a selfie stick and another one attached to his helmet. Only four out of five members of the band, two guitarists, a violinist and a drummer, managed to cope with their fear of heights. It was not easy for them to make it to the sky, and they had to face strong winds among other challenges. The fifth member of the band remained on the ground, unable to overcome the vertigo. The group did this show to celebrate the Russian Air Fleet Day, a date celebrated annually on the third Sunday of August to honour the Russian Air Forces. This event was first held on 18th August of 1933 in Gorki Park, Moscow.
