CCTV footage from Sidney's Bardwell Park Station on Wednesday captured a timelapse of floodwaters rising over 45 minutes. The T2 Airport line had to be closed down as a consequence, but could be re-opened for the afternoon rush hour. Australia's Bureau of Meteorology expects more heavy rain and strong winds before the storm begins to ease. Torrential rain and cyclonic winds, with gusts of up to 150 kilometres per hour (93 m/ph), have been hitting the coastal regions of Australia since Monday, leaving at least three killed.
