The US sports car company Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus presented its SCG003S model, reportedly the fastest-cornering road-legal car on sale at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The all-new road car is a direct descendant of the SCG003C race car, which won in its class at the world-famous Nuerburgring 24 Hours endurance race in Germany. The top speed of the SCG003S exceeds 217 miles per hour (350 km/h), with 0-100km/h covered in less than 3 seconds.
The Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG003S is hand-built in Italy by manufacturer Manifattura Automobili Torino. An integral carbon fibre chassis is powered by a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 engine that develops in excess of 750 horsepower.
The production of the car will start in limited numbers from the middle of 2018 at a price of $1.8 million (€1.7 million) per piece.
