GoPro footage from the cockpit of MiG-29s being flown by Russian Air Force pilots from Kursk to the Leningrad Region for air combat exercises was released on Tuesday.
The drills are due to take place at an undisclosed location later the same day. The pilots will be rehearsing group and solo flights, as well as air combat simulation with the use of missiles and against ground targets.
The drills are aimed at improving flying skills of pilots when operating over unfamiliar territory.
