Five cheetah cubs debuted at Rostock's Zoo, Monday. The cubs, two males and three females, were born to mother Malika and father Akido on April 28. Rostock Zoo was founded in 1899 and is the largest zoo on Germany's east coast, home to approximately 4,500 animals and 320 species. Cheetahs have been living in Rostock's Zoo since 1973. The cheetah house that currently houses these felines covers approximately 1,000 square metres of land and was opened in 2006.
