Russia: Batmobile revs its way to Moscow for rare showcase

The original Batmobile went on show in Moscow, Friday, attracting loyal fans of the franchise in the Russian capital.
The owner of the car, Leif Garvin had problems getting it through "customs" however was "really happy" for Muscovites to get to see the Batmobile which he made 16 years ago. Garvin brought the ride to the city in partnership with FastBoomPro to promote sales of identical vehicles on the Russian market.
It takes Garvin up to eight months to produce one vehicle. He bases it on a General Motors model with a 550 horsepower engine and the ability to accelerate to up to 250 kilometres per hour (155 miles per hour).
