Frank Dose broke the Guinness record for the heaviest bike in the world in Schacht-Audorf on Saturday. The bike weighs over one tonne and took six months to build.
Dose's contraption, which he had to ride 100m (328 feet) in order to qualify, exceeds the weight of the former Guinness World Record holder by 138 kg (304 pounds).
Responding to questions after beating the world record, the modest Dose responded: "This is cool, I am happy."
