A baby sea lion that was on the loose was caught by police and workers from the Marine Mammal Center in the Marina neighbourhood of San Francisco, Thursday, after the pup tried to seek refuge underneath a car. The little mammal was discovered by neighbours in the early morning. After the sea lion was put into a carrier and brought to the Marine Mammal Center, workers found that the animal had previously been in the care of the centre. The pup, which was named "Rubbish" by the member of public who initially discovered it, was then treated for pneumonia and malnutrition.
