02.06.2015
Windows 10 arrives this summer. A Mashable reviewer says after years of problems with Windows 8, Microsoft is finally getting its act together with its upcoming operating system.
Windows 10 will be available as a free update for all users with official Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 licenses until July 29, 2016.
Users who don't have a previous Windows license will have to pay for a fresh copy of Windows 10. Microsoft hasn't announced pricing, but a leak from Newegg suggests Windows 10 Home will cost $109 and Windows 10 Pro will cost $149. Windows RT is not upgradeable to Windows 10. Microsoft is anticipating a ton of downloads on July 29, so there's going to be wait. To be notified when your free Windows 10 upgrade is available, download and install the Get Windows 10 App to reserve your slot.
