Several people narrowly escaped death as the first of two cranes came crashing down in Alphen aan den Rijn, Monday. The footage, shot by a security camera, was released on Wednesday. Footage shows the crane crushing a house and a vehicle as people flee the scene. A service technician sitting to the right of the picture didn't seem to realise what was happening, until debris fell right next to him, prompting him to run away. Two giant cranes installed on a pontoon fell onto several homes as they were moving a big section of bridge, Monday.
