Sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik created a sand sculpture aimed at raising awareness of the Nepal earthquake victims, on Puri Beach in Odisha on Sunday. The renowned artist used around five tonnes of sand to create the sculpture, which he embellished with intricate details and the message "Join hands to help victims." Patnaik hopes his sculpture will encourage people from all over the world to step forward and help victims of the earthquake in Nepal and India, and other countries it has affected.
