Путин пристигна в Армения за честването на 100-годишнината от арменския геноцид

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Yerevan Thursday, to take part in formal proceedings for the 100th anniversary of the Armenian mass-killings which will take place in the Armenian capital on Friday 24. Putin's visit is expected to include a visit to the Armenian memorial complex of 'Tsitsernakaberd' as well as a ceremony organised in commemoration of the victims. After the ceremony, the Russian leader is expected to deliver a speech. Put was met at the airport by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who released a statement demanding Turkish authorities recognise the mass kilings as a "genocide" on Monday 20. Sargsyan went on to urge the Turkish leadership to take responsibility for the crimes beginnning in 1915.
