Saudi Arabia: Tillerson meets with Saudi FM to discuss Qatar crisis

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson held a meeting with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir in Jeddah, Wednesday to discuss the Arab countries and Qatar crisis.
Tillerson met with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Bahrain to negotiate possible solutions to the conflict. He also held talks with Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss combatting terrorism.
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Yemen simultaneously broke off diplomatic ties with Qatar on June 5, accusing the kingdom of supporting terrorist organisations. Kuwait, a member of the GCC, is mediating the dispute.
On Tuesday Doha and Washington signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) outlining a series of steps they would take to interrupt and disable financing flows to terrorists.
