Stunning time-lapse footage captured from the International Space Station (ISS), filmed on July 17 and released on Monday, shows thunderstorms hovering over the east coast of the US. Expedition 44 started on 11 June 2015 with the undocking of the Soyuz TMA-15M flight from the International Space Station. The flight has six crew members: three from the Russian Federal Space Agency (RSA), two from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and one from the JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).
