After receiving a nine-month stadium ban, Turkish football manager Hamit Isik hired a crane so he could watch his team Corum Beledivespor compete in a third division play-off fixture against Darcia Genclerbirligi from outside their stadium in Corum, Friday. Isik was able to watch the game using the crane to raise himself above the stadium walls, giving him a good view of the game whilst still adhering to his lengthy ban in place. Corum Beledivespor were ordered to close their stadium on May 7 by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board because of crowd trouble during an earlier game in the session. Isik himself received a 285-day stadium ban after having a heated altercation with a referee. Whilst Isik watched from the comfort of his crane, supporters of the club were forced to climb billboards and trees to see over the walls of the stadium, with others watching on a big screen outside. Despite the manager and fans efforts, the game ended in a goalless draw.
