Skoda's new Vision E electric concept car was unveiled at the Auto Shanghai Expo 2017 on Tuesday. A four-seat crossover reportedly based on VW Group’s MEB platform, the vehicle has two electric motors delivering a combined 225kW of power.
"This vehicle will be built exclusively for China, which underlines how important this country and its customers are for our company," Skoda CEO Bernhard Maier said at the presentation.
Designed in the Czech Republic, the Vision E is fuelled by liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery cells, and boasts a potential driving range of 500 kilometres (310 miles).
