Russia: Is Trump literally rubbing off? Putin shares VERY awkward handshake with Patriarch Kirill

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia shared a laugh outside Valaam Monastery, Tuesday, after the Patriarch’s attempts at walking arm in arm ended in a muddle of limbs.
After trying to take Putin by the arm, and failing, Kirill moved again to grasp the president’s hand, with only a brief moment of contact before Putin wriggled out of the embrace.
Putin formerly met US President Donald Trump for the first time at the G20 summit in Hamburg earlier in the month, with the Russian leader having to get to grips with Trump’s infamous handshake. With Trump confessing to be a germaphobe, let’s hope that Tuesday’s ungraceful meeting of extremities isn’t the US leader rubbing off on Putin.
