Italian town has silent shutdown for special Stradivarius recording

The northern Italian town of Cremona has been cordoned off in a bid to avoid noise interfering with the recording of the famous Stradivarius violins. Thirty-two ultra-sensitive microphones were installed in the auditorium of the Violin Museum, to capture the sounds of the Stradivarius violins in a digital format.
