Russian Ministry of Defence drone shows the view of Aleppo from above as civilians and rebel fighters leave Aleppo following a temporary eight hour 'humanitarian pause' on Friday, October 21.
Aleppo residents were informed of the opportunity to leave the city by airdropped leaflets, loudspeakers, mobile phone text messages and through the Internet, according to Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoy.
Syrian officials say the government intends to stabilise the situation in the city and to indiscriminately transfer civilians.
