Zenises presented the world’s most expensive tyre at the 'Reifen' show in Essen, Thursday. A set of four Z tyres costs a cool $600,000 (€536,000).
Commenting on the record, which was verified by Guinness World Records, Zenises CEO Harjeev Kandhari said the tyre was "designed with 24 carat gold and diamonds." He went on to say that the gold leafing used in the tyres is done by the same artisans who are "doing the gold leafing for the presidential palace in Abu Dhabi."
