A crowd of Christian worshippers have been drawn to a tree-trunk which bears a resemblance to Jesus Christ, in General Las Heras, Wednesday.
The image was discovered when, upon clearing a lot of land, a farmer perceived an image of Christ in a stump that was still standing.
Local resident, Dora Caminio, explained how the neighbourhood has been transformed following the discovery. "I see the emotions, the sick people, the disabled children who come...it is very moving," explained Caminio.
Worshippers visit the clearing to pray and leave offerings. Some worshippers touch the tree believing the trunk has healing and restorative powers.
