Vikram Agnihotri showed his competence in driving on Indore’s busy streets, Thursday, despite the fact he has no arms. Agnihotri lost the limbs in an accident when he was seven years old, when he touched an electric cable. The Indore-based businessman now wants a driving license. If the transport department issues Agnihotri with a license, it would be the first such instance in India where a person with no arms would be authorised to drive on the road. Agnihotri urged the government "to amend to law." To consider his application, the Regional Transport authority has formed a committee comprising a transport inspector, a training officer and a doctor to conduct the driving test. Apart from driving Agnihotri plays football, swims and shaves - all just with the use of his legs and feet. The businessman uses his nose as well as his toes to use the smartphones and laptops he needs for his work. As well as running a business, Agnihotri gives motivational speeches in schools and colleges, and runs an NGO to support similarly disabled people.
