Drone footage captured an estimated 600 cars lined up to form the outline of a Soviet military decoration in Khabarovsk, Sunday, as part of an action to celebrate Victory Day 2017.
The car formation, in the shape of the sickle and hammer in the middle of a five-pointed star, represents the Order of the Patriotic War, a Soviet military decoration that was awarded to Russian soldiers that fought in World War II.
A total of 26 Russian cities will stage parades on May 9 to mark the anniversary of the official capitulation of Nazi Germany to the Soviet forces. More than 10,000 people, 114 military vehicles, including the newest Tor-M2DT anti-aircraft missile systems and 72 aircraft, will take part in the Victory Day parade.
