USA: Mercedes-Benz showcases new F1-inspired supercar Project One

Mercedes-Benz presented its hybrid electric Project One supercar at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, Wednesday.
As the Project One is inspired by Mercedes' Formula One race-technology, it comes with a 1.6-liter V6 hybrid, more than 1,000 horsepower and a top speed going beyond 350 km/h (217 mph).
Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers stated that the supercar has a €2.275 million ($2.72 million) price tag without tax, and that "so far we are overbooked."
