Preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest were in full swing in Vienna, Friday, as contestants, presenters, ground teams and audiences took part in the final dress-rehearsal before Saturday’s show. Russia’s Polina Gagarina, one of this year’s favourites, was among the acts perforMing in the pre-show line up as well as Israel’s 16-year-old contestant Nadav Guedj. the UK’s Electro Velvet duo and Serbia’s Bojana Stameno can also be seen in the footage. Last year’s Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst, who can be seen soaring across the crowd attached to wires, will be one of the several hosts for the evening. The Eurovision Song Contest 2015 is the 60th edition of the annual musical event and the second time that Austria has hosted the show. Some 40 countries are participating in the contest, including Australia and Israel. There have already been two semi-finals, on May 19 and 21, with the final set for Saturday evening.
