Twenty three people were injured after lava from an erupting volcano hit a tourist vessel in Hawaii on Monday.
According to the local fire department, one woman was in critical condition with a fractured femur, while others suffered burns.
The 'lava bomb' left a gaping hole in the roof of the boat, which charged visitors $250 (£188) each to view lava plunging into the sea.
The lava is from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano, which began erupted in early May and has been sending lava or molten rocks into residential areas on Hawaii's Big Island.
