Building an 8x8x8 LED Cube

In this video we begin the building of an 8x8x8 mono LED cube. That's 8 layers of an 8x8 grid of LEDS....so 512 LEDs. That's 1024 solder joints. So to begin we solder the IC sockets, resistors, electrolytic and ceramic capacitors, barrel jack, switch, LED and crystal to the dual sided board.
