Russia led the field at the Tank Biathlon’s semi-finals of the International Army Games 2015, where teams from Russia, China, Serbia and Kazakhstan competed at the Alabino training ground outside Moscow on Thursday.KM The competition follows the rules of a classic biathlon, with each vehicle aiming to cover around 20 kilometres (12 miles) in the shortest time possible while shooting at different targets. All teams are using Russian-made T-72B3 tanks, except for the Chinese who are competing with their own tanks, the TYPE 96A. The Tank Biathlon 2015 finals and a closing ceremony will take place on Saturday.
