Four new-born lion cubs were shown off for the first time at Taigan Safari Park, in Alexandrovka, Monday. Generally, a lioness gives birth to one or two cubs, sometimes three. The birth of four is always an event. It is also noteworthy that, given the deteriorating physical condition of the mother, few thought that she would produce healthy offspring. The father of the cubs is known to be one of the most aggressive lions at the Safari Park, and has therefore been kept in a separate enclosure to ensure the safety of the cubs.
