Dozens of people showed off their underwear at the annual 'No Pants Subway Ride' in Berlin on Sunday.
Participants took off their trousers and skirts to hitch a ride on Berlin’s subway from Frankfurter Allee to Kaiserdamm, before gathering at Alexanderplatz for a group photo.
Participant and organiser Martin Schaelike explained that the idea originated from a New York-based improvisation group called "Improv Everywhere", explaining, "They started back in 2002, there were 7 participants but now there are more than 4,000. In Berlin we started five years ago with just 12 people."
The event has spread to numerous cities (more than 60) across the world including Moscow, Berlin, London, Paris and others.
