The Los Angeles auto-show saw the Mercedes-Benz SL550 premiered on Wednesday - a powerful 4.6 litre, two-turbo V-8 beast that can go from 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds! The horsepower is 449 and the car is estimated to be marketed at $108,050 (€100,910) The new SL is heavier and bigger than its predecessors. It has been packed full of driver assistance software and features, while employing adaptive suspension tech to significantly improve the handling and comfort of the ride. The presentation took place at the South Hall of the Convention Centre in Downtown LA, with Mercedes-Benz USA CEO, Steve Cannon, detailing the innovations in the new SL.
