Ships and aircraft of the Egyptian Defence Ministry are participating in the search for EgyptAir flight MS804 in the Mediterranean Sea as shown by footage provided courtesy of the Egyptian Ministry of Defence. French, Greek and US forces are also assisting with the operation. Initial reports that debris found near the Greek island of Karpathos belonged to the airliner have been denied by Greek authorities and Egyptair retracted its statement that the plane had been found.
