Greece: Scuffles break out as Aghani refugees protest Macedonia border closure

Hundreds of Afghan refugees staged a protest at the Greek-Macedonian border near Idomeni, on Monday, after Macedonian authorities decided to close their frontier gates to refugees originating from Afghanistan. An identical decision was also introduced by the Serbian government.
The refugees, many of whom were young children, held makeshift signs reading "open the border" and waved an Afghan flag. Over 1,000 refugees are currently waiting at the Idomeni border camp.
