Over 30 people have reportedly been killed after twin explosions hit Ankara on Saturday, with the death toll expected to rise. The blasts rocked the area near Ankara Central railway station, Turkey's busiest train hub. The attack, believed to be a suicide bomber, according to Hurriyet, hit the venue of the 'Labour, Peace, Democracy' rally, which was scheduled to begin at 10:00 local time (0700 GMT). The rally was planned by Turkey's biggest trade union in protest against the Turkish government's policy towards the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) . Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has called an emergency security meeting to discuss the attack and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cut short his programme in Istanbul to return to the capital.
