The lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris were turned off on Friday evening, in solidarity with the victims of the Christchurch mosque shootings.
Gunmen opened fire outside the Masjid Al Noor Mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, and the nearby Linwood Islamic Centre, killing 49 and wounding 48 on Friday.
The main suspect, 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant, appeared in court on Saturday charged with murder. Two more individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack.
