China: Take selfies with a drone controlled by your smartphone

The newest gadget for selfie enthusiasts, Cicada the selfie drone, was presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Asia in Shanghai on Wednesday. Developed by Elanview Technology, this lightweight drone can be controlled by mobile phones or tablets, allowing selfie fans to take their pictures to new heights. Before operating the drone users simply need to install Elanview's app on their electronic device, be that android or IOS. The drone's flight time is up to 15 minutes and besides taking pictures it can also shoot 1080p HD video, which includes real time monitoring of the flight status. It also comes equipped with an adjustable 169 degree fisheye lens and built in GPS for accurate outdoor orientation.
