Турция: Ердоган призова турците в Германия да не гласуват за големите партии

President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on Turks in Germany not to vote for major parties in the upcoming election in a press statement in Istanbul, Friday. Erdogan criticised German Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU party as well as the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Green Party, for being "enemies of Turkey".
In the statement, Erdogan had a clear message for Turks who are to eligible to vote in Germany, "Support those political parties who are not enemies of Turkey. It doesn't matter whether they are second or third parties."
He went on to say, "We also do not need its [Germany's] ideas on the European integration process."
Tensions have arisen between Berlin and Ankara since Germany voiced concerns over Erdogan's political crackdown in the wake of last year's failed coup attempt.
