Bulgarian supercar manufacturer Sin Cars presented their prototype for the S1 at the Geneva International Motor Show in the Palexpo convention centre on Tuesday.
Looking more like a New York taxi than a turbocharged sports car, the S1 comes as an open-top or coupe. The starting price is $49,900 (€40,000) and the vehicle can come with an electric, internal combustion or hybrid engine.
Some have slammed the car's appearance as ugly, while others are more partial to the fluorescent Bulgarian.
Company President Rosen Daskalov said buyers also had the option to customise. “We are offering different components, body part form, different body panels, different chassis, different drive trains, and the client must choose what he wants.”
Over 700,000 visitors are expected to attend the 88th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, which will open its doors to the public on Thursday. The exhibition will show 900 models, with more than 110 World and European Premiers from 180 exhibitors.
