Greece: First ever Greek Bitcoin ATM installed in Athens suburb

The first ever Bitcoin ATM machine in Greece was in installed in a bookshop in the Menidi suburb of Athens, Saturday. Discussing this benefits of the Bitcoin machine, the co-owner of the bookshop stated that "a lot of countries which are in crisis could turn to Bitcoin", but noted that "it's mainly for young people, it is very new." The Bitcoin is a digital currency which is not controlled by any particular bank. One Bitcoin is currently valued at €218.97 ($244.91)
