Egyptian journalist Moamen Mokhtar decided to call his newborn baby 'Putin' after the Russian President Vladimir Putin, he explained in an interview from Cairo, Tuesday.
Discussing this unique choice of name, Mokhtar said, "I want my son to become as strong and smart as Putin." Mokhtar also stressed that he is keen to teach his son the meaning of his name, "I just want him to know that the name ‘Putin’ means, ‘The one who is leading down the right path.’ So he could explain it to his friends when they ask him about the meaning of his name."
