Around a dozen dogs turned up at Huntington Beach in California, Friday, to take part in a dog surfing contest. Each dog was given 12 minutes to ride the waves and show off its skills, competing in two categories for big and small dogs. Three judges selected the best dog in each category. The hounds with the best and longest surfing rides will also compete in a diving contest taking place in the same location on Saturday.
